YOUR ROLE: As a Senior Research Scientist - Cell Signaling, you will be at the forefront of groundbreaking discoveries in molecular biology, leading innovative research projects that decode the complexities of cell signaling pathways. You will design and execute cutting-edge experiments, leveraging advanced molecular biology techniques and AI-driven data analysis to uncover new insights with real-world applications.
Collaboration is at the heart of this role-you will work closely with bioinformatics, computational biology, and AI teams to integrate multidisciplinary approaches in your research. Beyond the lab, you will have the opportunity to mentor and guide junior scientists, contribute to high-impact scientific publications, and present findings at leading conferences.

CORE DUTIES:
1. Lead and design innovative research projects focused on cell signaling pathways.
2. Utilize advanced molecular biology techniques to investigate cell signaling mechanisms at the molecular level.
3. Apply AI-driven approaches to analyze complex biological data and derive meaningful insights.
4. Collaborate with bioinformatics, computational biology, and AI teams to integrate multidisciplinary approaches in research.
5. Mentor and guide junior scientists and research associates in their projects and career development.
6. Stay current with the latest advancements and literature in cell signaling, molecular biology, and AI.
7. Prepare and present research findings at scientific conferences and in peer-reviewed publications.
8. Contribute to grant writing and securing funding for ongoing and new research initiatives.
9. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety requirements in the laboratory.
10. Foster a collaborative and innovative research environment within the organization.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Ph.D. in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 2 years of postdoctoral research experience in cell signaling.
3. Strong expertise in molecular biology techniques, including but not limited to, CRISPR/Cas9, RNAi, qPCR, Western blotting, and molecular modeling.
4. Proficiency in AI applications and machine learning algorithms relevant to biological research.
5. Experience with data analysis tools and bioinformatics software.
6. Proven track record of scientific publications in high-impact journals.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively and independently.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
9. Demonstrated leadership capabilities and experience in mentoring junior scientists.
10. Commitment to maintaining a safe and ethical research environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Experience in high-throughput screening techniques and technologies.
2. Knowledge of systems biology and network analysis approaches.
3. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
4. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
5. Ability to adapt to rapidly changing research environments and priorities.
6. Enthusiasm for continuous learning and professional development.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

1. Ability to work at lab bench or fume hood for extended period.

2. Ability to wear protection gear (gloves, lab coat, safety glasses, etc.).

3. Ability to operate a computer.
