Columbia University College of Physician's and Surgeons' Department of Psychiatry is seeking dynamic psychiatrists to join the innovative Outpatient Programs at Columbia University Medical Center. OUTPATIENT PSYCHIATRY CLINIC: Full time positions at the Instructor and Assistant Professor levels are available for psychiatrists in a community oriented Adult Outpatient setting within the psychiatry and medicine service at New York Presbyterian Hospital. Join a dynamic interdisciplinary team providing outpatient mental health care within article 31 OMH licensed and art 28 DOH licensed primary care clinics. There will also be opportunities to work within the inpatient psychiatry consultation liaison program to provide assessments and linkage to outpatient care. For all positions, responsibilities will include a combination of providing direct patient care, including assessment and treatment. This is a rich training environment with opportunities to teach Columbia Medical Students, psychology, psychiatry and social work trainees.
Opportunities for professional development in an academic medical center include Direct patient care, team leader, teaching Columbia medical students and psychiatry residents; Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not essential.
