Position Overview: As a Coverage Therapist, you will play a vital role in assessing, planning, and providing individual, family, and group psychotherapy. You will collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver comprehensive, individualized treatment to patients and their families, utilizing a trauma-informed and culturally responsive approach. Your work will primarily support the continuity of therapy within our mental health treatment programs, with occasional cross-coverage at other sites as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide process group therapy, family therapy, and individual therapy for assigned patients, including children, adolescents, and adults.
  • Collaboratively develop and assign treatment goals and interventions tailored to each patient's needs.
  • Coordinate care with external providers upon admission and discharge, ensuring a seamless treatment experience.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team discussions, case conferences, and treatment rounds, bringing your unique clinical perspective to the table.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with PrairieCare policies and regulatory standards.
  • Support quality assurance and peer review activities, contributing to the overall excellence of our services.
  • Embrace interculturally responsive practices, recognizing and valuing the diverse backgrounds of our patients and colleagues.
  • Participate in training seminars, group supervision, and regular staff meetings to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree or higher and licensure in the State of Minnesota as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Psychologist (LP) required.
  • Clinical mental health experience with a variety of ages and clinical presentations is preferred.
  • Experience in intensive psychiatric healthcare settings is a plus but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to provide therapy services collaboratively across diverse populations and treatment teams.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms.
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently and react calmly

Pay range for this position is $63,000 to $94,000 depending on education, licensure and experience.
