Job Summary:
Administers policies relating to all phases of human resources activity by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.
  • Recruits, interviews, tests, and selects employees to fill vacant positions. Maintains local AAP program, and insures accuracy with app flow log.
    * Plans and conducts new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward company goals.
  • Keeps records of benefits plans participation such as insurance and pension plan, personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations, and employee statistics for government reporting.
  • Trains management in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review, safety, and sexual harassment.
  • Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.
  • Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Administers performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organization.
  • Administers salary administration program to ensure compliance and equity within organization.
  • Plan and execute employee activities that foster meaningful connection to the Company and site (luncheons, celebrations, United Way Campaigns, Open Enrollment & Wellness Activities).
  • Help create and post communications (table talkers, birthday/anniversary announcements, etc.
  • Participate in quarterly communications meetings to provide updates and communications to employees.


Education and Experience:



  • Associates Degree preferred, BA/BS a plus

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Strong computer skills.


For candidates based in CA this position typically pays between 70,200 -78,800/year.

This is a swing shift position working 2 PM - 11 PM Monday - Friday and other hours as needed.
