JOB DESCRIPTION:

Support the development and maintenance of Quality System to assure that all products manufactured by the organization meet customer specifications and achieve superior quality levels. This is an onsite position at our New Berlin, WI facility.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage and resolve customer and supplier inquiries, claims, and quality-related issues promptly and professionally.
  • Utilize FTIR (Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy) to identify materials accurately.
  • Review and ensure compliance with Supplier Quality Agreements.
  • Assist in completing customer regulatory compliance forms and IMDS (International Material Data System) submissions.
  • Manage and maintain documentation related to PPAP (Production Part Approval Process), FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis), Process Mapping, Process Validation, and Continuous Improvement projects.
  • Oversee part number specifications and ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Conduct inspections of finished goods for medical or prime customers to ensure quality compliance.
  • Participate in and lead process improvement projects as requested.
  • Provide support to Research and Development teams with quality-related tasks.
  • Serve as quality representative for Tier-2 and Tier-3 issues.
  • Coordinate quality activities for machine trials and special projects.
  • Manage customer satisfaction rating processes and coordinate inputs for management reviews.
  • Conduct occasional plant tours and provide training and education to new employees and customers.
  • Visit customers to address quality-related problems and provide support.
  • Collaborate with external analytical laboratories for analysis and testing as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Certifications/Experience Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree, or 3 to 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with Quality Systems and ISO Documentation Systems required.

Skills Required:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Familiarity with advanced computer applications (Syteline, MS Access, SQC Pack)
  • Capable of handling multiple projects/priorities
  • Excellent written and oral communications
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills needed to interface with all levels in the organization
