Senior Content Strategist Remote Location: Seattle, WA; San Francisco Bay Area; Austin, TX; or Washington, DC Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior Content Strategist to elevate our content efforts and drive engagement across the customer journey. This strategic yet hands-on role requires a seasoned professional who can develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy tailored to our B2B technology audience, with a focus on measurable impact and alignment with business goals. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of content marketing, audience insights, data-driven decision-making, and experience working cross-functionally to deliver high-quality, impactful content. Additionally, this role requires proficiency in using AI tools to scale content creation and maximize efficiency. Experience in the cybersecurity industry is highly preferred.

We are seeking candidates located in San Francisco, CA; Seattle, WA; Austin, TX; Washington, DC, and their surrounding metropolitan areas, to facilitate occasional in-person interactions as needed. While the position is primarily remote, there will be periodic in-person requirements to support team collaboration and foster stronger connections. This approach ensures flexibility while providing opportunities to build meaningful in-person relationships that strengthen our team and company culture.

What You Will Do
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy aligned with business goals, audience needs, and the customer journey.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales, product, and other teams to align content initiatives with company objectives.

  • Create content that drives measurable results, using data and analytics to refine and optimize strategies.

  • Leverage AI tools to streamline and scale content creation, ensuring efficiency without compromising quality.

  • Oversee the development of various content types, including blogs, whitepapers, case studies, eBooks, videos, reports, and more.

  • Own and optimize agile-based processes for content management, including intake, ideation, prioritization, production, and quality.

  • Lead audience research efforts to ensure content is tailored to the needs and pain points of B2B tech and cybersecurity professionals.

  • Establish KPIs for content performance and regularly report on the impact of content initiatives.

  • Maintain consistency in brand voice, messaging, and quality across all content channels.

  • Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to ensure content strategies remain innovative and competitive.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in content strategy and marketing within the B2B tech sector, preferably in the cybersecurity industry.

  • Proven track record of developing and executing content strategies that drive measurable results.

  • Strong understanding of content performance metrics and experience using data to optimize strategies.

  • Proficiency in using AI tools to scale content creation and improve efficiency.

  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with diverse teams.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced understanding of the cybersecurity industry, including its audiences and challenges.

  • Experience with tools like PathFactory, Google Analytics, and AI platforms for content creation and optimization.

  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and how to apply them to content strategy.

Compensation Bands:

San Francisco

$120K - $150K * Offers Equity

Seattle, Austin, D.C. area

$110K - $137K * Offers Equity
