Senior Accountant

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to support our team by performing general accounting duties focused primarily in the areas of cash, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliation and general ledger accounting. As a Trex Senior Accountant, you will be preparing certain bank reconciliations, assisting with the preparation of ledgers, budgets, daily cash reports, accounting for fixed assets, and certain balance sheet account reconciliations. This role is a key member of our Accounting team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Preparing ledgers and budgets, analyzing data, and preparing reports.
• Highly involved in month-end closing activities such as preparing and entering journal entries and preparing balance sheet reconciliations.
• Recording and reporting daily cash transactions, entering and reviewing invoices from vendors and suppliers, and recording cash receipts from customers.
• Assisting with various payroll needs.

EXPERIENCE

Required:

• Bachelor's degree, related technical training (or equivalent experience)
• 2+ years of directly related experience
• Must be 18 years or older and eligible to work in the United States

BASE SALARY RANGE: $65,000-$85,000 annually

The salary range provided serves as a general guideline for potential compensation for this position. It reflects the base salary and does not account for other benefits or additional compensation opportunities that may apply. This role is also eligible for further compensation through an annual and/or sales bonus, in addition to the base salary.
