Clinician Supervisor - Inpatient Psychiatry

JOB SUMMARY:

Leads and directs the group therapy treatment programs within the Inpatient Psychiatry Healthcare Service, ensuring high-quality evidence- based treatment for individuals with mental health conditions and/or substance use disorders. Provides direct supervision of all group therapists ensuring treatment is
appropriate, sufficient, and effective. Assures program regulatory compliance including clinical documentation excellence. Manages the operation of the program provided by group therapists on Inpatient Psychiatry. Develop appropriate liaisons with other programs within the Psychiatry Service and the UVMHN Medical Group, as well as governmental and regulatory agencies. Maintains an active clinical caseload including intake screenings, treatment, consultations, and group
activity.

EDUCATION:

Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related field. Licensed to practice as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Clinician (LCMHC) or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the State of Vermont.

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of five years work in supervised mental health treatment program along with relevant leadership experience.
