IPS CTF Electric Plant Test Support Engineer
Overview Position is a full time position in Philadelphia, PA. Electric Boat is expanding its engineering presence in the Philadelphia Navy Yard to support the COLUMBIA Class electric plant testing program. The IPS CTF waterfront engineering team provides technical support for emergent issues by evaluating problems and collaborating with a team of engineers across multiple sites. IPS CTF Engineering personnel perform the tasks described below to support development and execution of the Electric Plant Test Program and other programs. The test program will, at times, require a 24/7 test schedule and, therefore, qualified candidates must be willing to support overnight and weekend shifts as necessary. Work from home opportunities are limited and evaluated on a case by case basis. Frequent interface with government personnel is required. Responsibilities will include the following:
Troubleshoot and investigate issues by reviewing data and inspecting the condition of hardware using test equipment such as digital multi-meters, fiber optic test kits, special test equipment, etc.
