The Simulation Collaborative at the University of Virginia School of Nursing seeks two Simulation Operations Specialists or Simulation Operations Specialists Intermediate to support the education of medical students, nursing students, and other members of the healthcare team in the Simulation Collaborative. They assist in educational activities by offering pre- and post-simulation and surgical training support, coordinating technical and administrative tasks, maintaining documentation and resources, conducting simulation sessions, and collaborating with faculty and staff on skills and scenario development. This position will support the daily operations of the Simulation Collaborative, and other healthcare education activities, facilitating high-quality experiential learning activities for our learners. This is a full-time salaried position with hours that will vary based on the scheduled educational needs of our learners. You can expect an average of 40 hours per week with the possibility of working early mornings, evenings, and weekends as the schedule dictates. Responsibilities: Simulation Operations Specialists:

Compensation: Anticipated Hiring Range for the Simulation Operations Specialist - $50,000 - $65,000 Anticipated Hiring Range for the Simulation Operations Specialist Intermediate - $65,000 - $75,000 Actual hiring rates commensurate with experience. Physical Demands: This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs. Must have the ability to move 50 pounds and remain in a stationary position for long periods of time.
