Job Description

While this job description outlines the key responsibilities of the position, it is not all-encompassing. The primary goal of every role is to ensure outstanding guest service, whether by fulfilling requests personally or directing them to the appropriate department. Below is a summary of the major responsibilities for this position.



Responsibilities

    Set up and maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout the shift.
  • Provide upscale service with extensive knowledge of fine dining standards.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of wines, spirits, and beer, as well as the full food menu.
  • Confidently sell and present wine selections to guests.
  • Demonstrate strong sales and communication skills.
  • Greet and engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner.
  • Take and deliver orders efficiently.
  • Provide attentive service and follow up to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain cleanliness in service areas, including bar tops and surrounding spaces.
  • Assist with service bar operations.
  • Adhere to uniform and appearance standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
  • Micros POS system, telephone, copier, file folders, fax machine, and other standard office equipment.


Qualifications

  • Proficiency in full-service bar operations, including beer, wine, and liquor.
  • bility to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to stand for up to eight hours.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
  • Ability to perform in both indoor and outdoor environments.
  • Work throughout the hotel, including both indoor and outdoor settings.
  • Exposure to varying weather conditions when working outdoors.
  • Potential exposure to hazardous cleaning chemicals.
  • Regular interaction with food and beverage products.
