Information Technology Operations Lead

Peraton is looking for an experienced Operational Lead looking to manage support in a real-time (24/7) operations systems that intergrates several COTS/GOTS.

The indidivdual would be responsible for the below:

Provides technical expertise in the design and development of IT operation environments. Develops strategy of the client/server system and the design architecture to support strategy.
• Researches new technology and advises on purchases for the client regarding processing, data storage, data access, and applications development.
• Develops strategies for conducting studies to estimate the space, computer hardware, software and connection infrastructure resources required on a short and long-term basis.
• Develops models of the computer and computer application environment, identifies, and resolves computer operation systems performance issues.
• Measures system usage by workload type, identifying trends, and estimating further resource requirements.

Required

• U.S Citizen
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or relevant experience with at least 7 years of experience in development or system architecture
• Experience managing 24/7 operatonal systems that intergrate COTS/GOTS
• Experiene managing large data sets
• Ability to communicate clearly

• Experience developing, implementing, and managing processes to ensure high level of efficiency
• Ability to improve productivity
