Production Team Members - Cannon Falls, MN

Purpose Statement

To learn and demonstrate proficiency and flexibility in all positions within the plant to respond to and support any position based on business need. This position supports other internal departments and those of the flat cut out, plastics and pronto shops.

Essential Functions

1. Letter Finisher
   1. Ensure products are clean and free from scratches and foreign materials.
   2. Properly finish and assemble as instructed by the work order.
   3. Assure each order is complete by counting and matching contents with the work order.
2. Painter
   1. Mix appropriate quantity of paint per work order, ensure that the paint is properly mixed as indicated by local conditions and matching paint chips or samples if required by the job.
   2. Spray products as required, ensuring that paint is applied in a manner consistent with customer requirements and company quality standards.
3. Shipper
   1. Inspect finished products for function, aesthetics, and quality, if required, and may clean products as necessary.
   2. Maintain familiarity with shipping procedures, bill of lading etc. and prepare products for UPS/truck pick-up required.
4. FCO operator
   1. Operate lasers or routers to produce product as instructed per the work order
5. Laminator
   1. Uses appropriate equipment to laminate either foils or metal to a substrate as instructed by the work order
6. Lean/Continuous Improvement
   1. Will participate in Lean/Continuous Improvement efforts in the plant

Required Education/Experience:

1. High School Diploma/GED or equivalent demonstrated competency through work experience and 1 - 2 years of experience in a production environment

Preferred Experience/Knowledge:

1. Manufacturing Experience
2. Automotive Paint Experience

Physical Demands:

1. Must be able to lift to 50 lbs.
2. Operate a variety of power saws and routers, cutting out letters from plastic sheets.
