Responsibilities

This position is for Strategic Technology Consulting (STC), an Arcfield Company. Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Senior Growth Manager to lead and manage our growth initiatives across commercial and defense sectors. This senior-level role is responsible for organizing and collaborating with a cross-functional team of Growth Directors, Solution Architects, and Capture Managers to drive strategic business development efforts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in business development, team leadership, and cross-sector market expansion.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership and Team Collaboration

  • Organize and collaborate with a high-performing team of Growth Directors, Solution Architects, and Capture Managers to deliver on growth objectives.

  • Develop team capabilities through coaching, training, and constructive feedback.

  • Foster effective communication and teamwork across departments to ensure alignment on goals and initiatives.

Pipeline Management

  • Oversee the development, tracking, and execution of a robust business development pipeline in both commercial and defense markets.

  • Identify, qualify, and prioritize opportunities to achieve revenue and growth targets.

  • Provide regular updates and insights on pipeline performance to executive leadership.

Strategic Planning and Execution

  • Develop and implement comprehensive growth strategies tailored to commercial and defense market dynamics.

  • Work closely with Solution Architects to align technical solutions with client needs and opportunities.

  • Collaborate with Capture Managers to create winning proposals and strategies for high-value pursuits.

Relationship Development

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and government agencies.

  • Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote capabilities and expand visibility.

Operational Excellence

  • Establish and maintain efficient processes, tools, and metrics to streamline operations and reporting.

  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.

  • Manage resources and budgets effectively to maximize ROI and team performance.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Support external business development consultants to enhance market outreach and strategic initiatives.


Qualifications

  • BS 12-15, MS 10-13, PhD 8-10
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field. MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales
  • Proven track record of successfully meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Equal Pay Act

This is the projected compensation range for this position. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
