This role involves designing, implementing, and managing programs, committees, and initiatives that address key aspects of care delivery affecting well-being. In collaboration with faculty and staff, the Program Manager will gather feedback and generate insights to drive improvements across clinical practice, from patient care to administrative workflows. This is a unique opportunity to partner with faculty and staff in fostering a community of wellness, enhancing practice efficiency, and building resilience as UT Health Austin continues to grow and evolve. The Program Manager will collaborate closely with others to ensure program and initiative alignment and coordination across UT Health Austin and Dell Medical School. Stakeholders will include both faculty and staff, including initiatives specific to particular groups and initiatives that more broadly impact multiple groups.This role will report to leadership for faculty and staff professional fulfillment and well-being to align initiatives with strategic plans, design new programs, and provide comprehensive program management ranging from implementation to operational support to assessment of impact that enables continuous improvement. This position requires a high level of planning, collaboration, communication, judgment, influence, initiative, and follow-through and will offer an important opportunity to engage with stakeholders across campus as an ambassador for the importance of professional fulfillment and well-being. Responsibilities
Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5 years of program coordinator or clinical management experience in an academic or clinical setting. Demonstrated excellent planning and organizational skills. Demonstrated initiative and ownership of projects. Demonstrated experience taking initiatives or programs from concept through implementation and evaluation. Demonstrated ability to successfully manage relationships with multiple stakeholders and leaders in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel). Ability to relocate to Austin, TX. Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate. Preferred QualificationsMaster's degree in management, business administration, healthcare administration, or applicable field. 3 years of experience in healthcare, ideally an academic medical center with clinical experience. Experience working with clinicians and administrators. Demonstrated interest in professional fulfillment and/or well-being or clear interest in developing expertise in this area. Previous experience as well-being program coordinator or similar position. Demonstrated ability to manage a program budget. Entrepreneurial spirit and comfort with change and ambiguity. Desire to facilitate meetings and deliver presentations. Understanding of University of Texas systems, programs, and policies. Salary Range$70,000+ depending on qualifications Working Conditions
