We currently have an opening in our Aurora, IL office for an experienced Contracts Manager. The Contracts Manager will have demonstrated competence in DOD contracting, commercial contracting, and international contracting with strong knowledge and experience with Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisitions Regulations (DFAR).



Responsibilities

  • Draft and negotiate Teaming Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Consultant/Agent Agreements, and other agreements as required.
  • Review complex solicitations and prepare proposals including development of pricing strategy, Intellectual Property Assertions, contractual risk mitigation, etc.
  • Analyze and negotiate unique contract requirements, terms and conditions and special provisions to ensure compliance with the regulations and corporate objectives.
  • Administer both advanced contracts and General Services Administration contracts and associated purchase orders.
  • Advise senior management on contractual rights and commitments and provide interpretation and guidance on contract terms and conditions.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual requirements within the business team and provide guidance on contractual issues.
  • Coordinate with Program Managers to ensure contract requirements (CDRLs, adherence to SOW) are fulfilled.
  • Knowledge and experience with ITAR, Export Requirements, TAA and international contracting.


Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship required. - Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • Bachelor's Degree in business or related field.
  • 8+ years of contract administration experience.
  • Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM) or Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) desirable.
  • Independent judgment and analysis applied to resolution of contract issues.
  • Ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide sound interpretation of, and application of, Government contracts and procurement regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate and interact effectively, both internally with technical staff and management as well as external customers and suppliers.
  • Ability to work in a fast pace, complex environment and effectively multi-task to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of Software Applications; experience with PeopleSoft a plus.
  • Employee must be able to travel domestically and internationally.
  • Ability to comply with all Company guidelines, policies, procedures and embrace Company Core Values.

The annualized pay range for this role is $109,773-140,266 USD along with a target incentive compensation plan (ICP) of 10%. The pay range provided is a good faith estimate representative of the experience level for the role described above. TDSI considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
