The Vice President, Enterprise Green Accelerator will:

Advise the CEO and drive development of business development opportunities and other strategic decisions associated with IRA, climate related market and funding opportunities

Serve as lead oversight for the successful administration of the NCIF award, including managing accountability systems and solutioning for all aspects of associated grant related activities, including allocation, product development alignment and deployment and strategic guidance on all investment decisions

• Oversee and adjust as needed Enterprise's subaward allocation plans for green predevelopment financing, green capital products, market-building and technical assistance activities and overall program administration.

• Work in collaboration with the VP for Green Lending to advise in the development of the lending products and associated projects; work in collaboration with the VP of Building Resilient Futures to advise in the development of all market-building and community facing strategies and associated projects

• Ensure cross-divisional and shared service departments are collaborating effectively and minimize redundancies as we serve communities at a national level

Establish and maintain effective working relationships at the highest levels of federal, state and local government in collaboration with Enterprise's climate-related functions (Green Development, Green Lending, Building Resilient Futures)

• Advocate on behalf of Enterprise at the local, state and federal levels to ensure strategies and requirements necessary to advance a comprehensive green affordable housing program and other working capital needs

Establish and maintain effective working relationships in the corporate and philanthropy sectors in collaboration with Resource Development and Capital teams

• Develop a comprehensive philanthropic and private capital strategy to allow the EPA grant to go further by adding additional sources of capital and funds to our programs

Manage the Enterprise Green Accelerator Board convenings, approvals and engagement

Business development:

• Design, structure and implement Enterprise's Energy Attribute Certificate Fund through corporation investments (purchase-and-sale agreements) to provide gap-financing to green infrastructure in affordable housing

• Assess viability and plan for IRA tax credit business opportunities

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will bring a range of experience and attributes to Enterprise:

• 15 years of senior level experience in decarbonization, climate, affordable housing and/or community development finance

• Demonstrated commitment to racial equity and social justice

• Strong visionary and strategic thinking skills, centered on organizational mission

• A history of strong external relationship building and relationship management with a wide range of industry colleagues in the political, philanthropic and climate investment areas

• Strong written and oral executive communication skills

• Experience with federal contract/grant execution

• Deep understanding and familiarity with climate mitigation, environmental justice, decarbonization and/or climate adaptation strategies as they relate to housing, including federal policy landscape, multifamily real estate sustainability practices and financing solutions

• Experience working with partners in the climate resilience industry, including research and advocacy organizations in energy efficiency, renewables, and/or resilience

• Undergraduate degree required, advanced degree preferred

• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

The basesalaryfor this role is $ 230,000 to $ 250,000, depending on level of skills and experience.

Thesalaryrange for this position is represented by the low and high end of the range for the amount to be paid for the position. Salaries paid at Enterprise will vary based on factors that may include skills, education, location, experience, and performance.Thesalaryrange is just a part of the total rewards package provided to employees at Enterprise, and other rewards may include annual performance bonuses and generous paid leave programs.
