R&D Materials Intern

Job Summary:

The R&D Materials Intern will work on projects to develop and test new polymer-based and composite materials. They will also work directly with R&D processes and equipment on the implementation of materials in new products.

Job Functions:

• Design and conduct material experiments
• Conduct physical testing on material samples
• Document and report test results
• Work directly with process equipment on new material development efforts
• Reads, understands and is committed to conducting business in accordance to Albany International's Business Ethics Policy. All business of the company should, at all times, be conducted ethically, fairly, honestly and with integrity.

Education Requirements: Working towards BS in Materials Science or Materials Engineering degree.
