Primary Purpose: Leads the Electric and Fuel Procurement (E&FP) contract management and system support teams within the Settlements and Systems department. Responsible for commercial management of SDG&E's multibillion dollar, long-term energy contract portfolio and working with 3rd parties to develop new contracted energy resources. Ensures proper management of contracts, both third-party owned and utility-owned generation resources (including gas-fired, renewable, and energy storage), from contract execution to contract expiration. Supports E&FP's portfolio optimization, negotiation of amendments, and resolution of contract disputes. Ensures IT systems relied upon by E&FP maintain appropriate functionality in response to changing market conditions and supports overall business process and system enhancements. Starting salaries may vary based on factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, and education. SDG&E offers a competitive total rewards package that goes beyond base salary.
