Biological Sciences The Missouri S&T biological sciences department provides exceptional, interdisciplinary opportunities for students, faculty, and staff to serve the region and the state. This is accomplished through curriculum and experiences that emphasize experiential learning, community engagement, and hands-on original research. The department's faculty expertise encompasses cell and molecular biology, microbiology, health sciences and environmental biology. Two-thirds of biological sciences faculty have ongoing, active collaborative research projects with colleagues in other sciences, engineering, humanities, and social sciences. The university is investing in biology-related research infrastructure, including a BioPlex building, and it is an exciting time to join and contribute to this dynamic and expanding department. The Biological Sciences Department at Missouri S&T is seeking a qualified applicant to fill the role of Business Support Specialist I. This role is the first point of contact, providing general support, greeting visitors, answering calls, and resolving routine issues. Key Responsibilities

High School Diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary Preferred Qualifications
Anticipated Hiring Range
The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $15.00 - $15.50/hourly. Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual's particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
