Supply Chain Analyst (Invoice Management and Purchasing)

As a Supply Chain Analyst, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our supply chain processes, managing invoices, and overseeing purchasing activities. You will collaborate with various departments to track invoices, identify discrepancies, implement effective solutions, and support procurement activities to enhance our overall supply chain performance

Summary/Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the end-to-end invoice management process, including invoice receipt, review, and validation.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve any invoice discrepancies, ensuring accurate and timely invoice processing.
  • Conduct regular audits to identify any billing errors, duplicate invoices, or pricing discrepancies, and take appropriate actions to rectify them.
  • Analyze invoice data to identify trends, patterns, and areas of improvement for cost reduction and process optimization.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure smooth invoice processing and resolve any invoicing issues promptly.
  • Prepare and present reports on invoice processing metrics, highlighting key performance indicators and recommending process improvements.
  • Assist in developing and implementing purchasing strategies to optimize costs, improve supplier performance, and ensure timely availability of goods and services.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and assist with negotiating favorable terms and conditions

Qualifications

Education & Industry Experience

  • 1-4 years' experience with supply chain concepts
  • Associate Degree or Bachelor Degree
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and advanced formula development.
  • Proven experience in supply chain analysis, invoice management, purchasing, or a related role.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and analyze large sets of data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in using supply chain management software, databases, and ERP systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple invoices and tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively identify and resolve issues in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of supply chain principles, inventory management, and procurement processes
