Your Role and Team-Outpatient Rehabilitation Services:

"As a PTA, I appreciate the various skills of each of my Physical Therapists. I constantly learn from each of them. Each PT brings various and diversified skills to our team. We have therapists who specialize in manual skills, PRI, working with athletes and young people, balance and vestibular. Each provider is active in continuing education and brings back to the clinic what they learn. It is a place of growing one's skills as a PTA with wonderful support from our lead, therapists, and manager. We have diversified patients from orthopedic, neuro, and athletes for growth and satisfaction in all areas." --Current LPTA, West Valley Hospital

Your Background and Expertise:

  • Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant with the State of Oregon, required within 90 Days of hire.
  • Associate of Sciences - Graduate of a physical therapist assistant training program accredited by the CAPTE (Committee on Accreditation in Education of the American Physical Therapy Association/ Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education ).
  • Minimum of one (1) year of Clinical experience in the practice setting required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 Days of hire.
  • Be a team player and have proven success applying team approach to obtain resolution to an issue.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, problem solving, decision making, and organizational skills for working with the rehabilitation team and patients.
  • Demonstrates competency by implementing age culturally sensitive, and developmentally appropriate treatment plans and by appropriate documentation.
