Are you a visionary leader ready to drive growth and innovation on the East Coast? Join STV's Project/Program Management & Construction Management Group (PM/CM Group) as the East Coast Regional Director and lead a high-performing team to new heights.

As the East Coast PM/CM Regional Director, you will work closely with a team of national market sector leaders, area managers, and other discipline leads to deliver comprehensive project, program & construction management, design-build construction and inspections services.

This high performing group has delivered exceptional projects across the aviation, corporate and commercial, education, healthcare, civic/justice facilities, and transportation hubs and stations nationwide. Under your leadership, this group will continue to diversify into new geographics/markets across the East Coast.

In this highly visible leadership role, you'll be the 'face' of STV's PM/CM Group across the East Coast, contribute to the planning, organizational, and operational decisions to achieve STV's strategic and annual goals. Preferably you'd have a home-base in the Northeast Region (NY/NJ/PA) with the flexibility for regular travel to our network of offices across the East Coast as we pursue market opportunities for growth all the way down to the Florida coast.

Your continued career performance will be measured advancing new & existing client relations, growth, project performance, efficiency, and talent development. You will lead a team of project managers, technical experts, business developers, and administrative staff, reporting directly to the National PM/CM Group President. You will also collaborate with Operating Group peers and STV's Centers of Excellence to leverage market knowledge, resources, and strategies for cross collaboration and achieving 'best in class" client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Work with the PM/CM Group President and leadership team to develop and implement the strategic and annual business plan for the Eastern Region, focusing on both public and private sectors.

  • Business Growth: Drive business growth with a vision to exceed $100 million in net revenue for your region.

  • Leadership: Provide empowering leadership for all regional staff, recognized as a thought-leader and collaborator with STV's senior leadership.

  • Budget Management: Formulate and manage the annual budget and resource planning.

  • Reporting: Prepare and manage quarterly workload projections, monthly revenue reports, and assist with collections as needed.

  • Business Development: Participate in business development and client management activities in collaboration with Business Development leads and the Operating Group President.

  • Teaming Arrangements: Coordinate teaming arrangements for project proposals and assist with proposal preparation and review.

  • Staff Management: Make recommendations on hiring, firing, advancement, and other employee status changes within the region.

  • Leadership Committee: Serve on the Division Leadership Committee.

  • Industry Participation: Actively participate in industry events, associations, and business chambers.

  • Geographic Expansion: Expand STV's presence in new geographic areas across the East Coast.

  • Market Opportunities: Identify and pursue opportunities in emerging markets and sectors, including technology and advanced manufacturing.

  • Market Strategies: Develop strategies to enter and establish a foothold in new market segments.

  • Client Relationships: Build and nurture relationships with clients across diverse industries.

  • Market Insights: Leverage market insights to adapt and innovate service offerings.

Requirements:

  • Clear Communication: Strong communication skills to connect with all stakeholders. Thrive in a fast-paced environment and lead change effectively.

  • Quality Commitment: Commitment to quality, integrity, and continual improvement.

  • Mentorship: Experience mentoring young professionals and developing future leaders.

  • Organizational Change: Experience in executing organizational change while maintaining team culture and efficiency.

  • Experience: 20+ years in senior leadership roles within a Project, Program or Construction Management firm. Proven success in leading geographic expansion or entering new market sectors.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field preferred. Additional accreditations (CCM, PMP, PE, DBIA, LEED) are a plus.

  • Team Management: Experience managing teams of 100-500+ across multiple locations. Leadership style that builds trust and cohesion.

  • Finance Management: Experience in operations and finance management, with skills in quality, risk, contract management, and long-range planning.

  • Proposals and Presentations: Proven track record in business development, proposals, and presentations.

  • Construction Methods: High-level understanding of major construction and project delivery methods.

  • Market Experience: Diverse market sector experience is a plus, with expertise in growth markets such as technology, healthcare, advanced manufacturing, transportation hubs and higher education a big plus.

  • Travel: Ability to travel within the Eastern Region to oversee projects, offices, and clients.

Compensation Range:

$255,889.61 - $319,862.01
