Extrusion Operator

This position will at some point be on the night shift - 12 hour shifts 2 on/2 off and the starting rate is $20.18/hour.

The Extrusion Operator is involved in all aspects of manufacturing monofilament. An Extrusion Operator follows a specified step progression. Op 1-2 assists with the handling, inspection and packing of finished products and the disposal of scrap generated during a production run. They also provide machine monitoring within the scope of specified duties. The Operator 3 is involved in prepping the machine for start-up, running machine, plant organization and shutdown. Operator 4-6 starts-up and shuts down the machines and is involved with plant organization. Operator 4 is certified in 1 application, Operator 5 is certified in 2 applications, and Operator 6 is certified in 3 applications. It is expected that Operators start at level 1 and is required to continue to follow a specified step progression to Operator 7.
