Hourly Rate: $34k-48k

What You Will Do:
* Follow all safety guidelines and participate as fully-empowered team member to achieve organization-wide goal of zero incidents.
* Assigns carriers to loads and generates load sheets once assigned.
* Complete all documentation required in the shipping or receiving processes.
* Prepares instructions regarding receiving systems and procedures.
* Must have a good working knowledge of part numbers and part usage and understand applications for use.
* Compares identifying information and counts, weighs or measures items of incoming shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders or other records.
* Maintains daily load sheet of shipments and emails to corporate at the end of each day
* Issues non-conformances for problem loads and organizes RMA returns to suppliers
* Keys in Bill of Lading (BOL) throughout the day.
* Transfers parts out of inventory.
* Ensures freight invoices match the loads then okay invoices for payment or investigate discrepancies.
* Monitors scrap trailers, contacts carriers to schedule pickups and weighs trucks.
* Operate and provide training to others on powered industrial vehicles, to include forklift, cart, and pallet jacks, for purpose of loading and unloading trucks, stacking or de-stacking materials and storage. Be able to operate all fork truck attachments also.
* Store, count, move, mark and issue materials in accordance with shipping and receiving department processes and procedures, either verbal or written
* Inventories materials on work floor and supplies workers with materials, as needed
* Utilizes applicable sections of Axapta for shipping process
* Update, maintain, and record all necessary data in Axapta, Exactus and with Google.doc with current levels.
* Acts as first level of communication with material handlers.
* Research and follow up on scopes to full resolution.
* Use scanners for inventory control process.
* Coordinates shipping activities with Logistics Department.
* Arranges for disposal of surplus materials.
* Actively participate in daily activity calls.
* Knowledge and understanding of common carrier flow, hours of service regulations, and logistic constraints.
* Coordinate shipments to maximize load capacity, efficiency, and cost savings (detention, layover charges, vehicle ordered but not used, and etc.).
* Foster positive relationships with carriers, drivers, and team members.
* Provide and create supportive solutions to situations and questions.
* Drive the yard dog and stage trailers, as needed.
* Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

What you will need:

* Advanced knowledge of PC usage required to include using Word, Excel, Microsoft Windows, and data entry operations.
* Demonstrated ability to multitask with excellent attention to detail.
* Energetic, professional demeanor; exemplifies company's core values and promotes teamwork with contagious enthusiasm.
* Material handling experience required with past forklift experience preferred.
* Drive the forklifts, yard dog and stage trailers, as needed.
* Associates degree or certification in related field preferred, HS Diploma or GED required.
* Previous manufacturing experience required.
* Prefers 2+ years demonstrated experience as a shipping or receiving coordinator.
* Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
* Required to have a valid New Mexico Drivers' License
