The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for increasing sales volume and profit margin by seeking out and establishing new business relationships and growing existing accounts assigned by management, as well as researching, identifying, and pursuing new market segments. This will be accomplished through in person visits, trade shows, industry networking events, phone, virtual, and email communication.

This role is located in Atlanta, GA and will be fully remote/hybrid. Occasional travel to other locations will be required. This is a non-commissioned position with a competitive base salary and benefits.



Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

* Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan.
* Research leads, industries, and markets for potential product use.
* Outbound phone, virtual, and in person visits as well as networking with leads and customers.
* Continuously pursue new business opportunities/quotes and build a strong sales pipeline.
* Develop a complete understanding of all products and services provided by Wieland Metal Services
* Achieve agreed upon sales booking & billing targets assigned.
* Coordinate with commercial leadership, customer service, operations, and supply on material needs and sales order fulfillment.
* Effective use of CRM tools to keep track of customer relationships and provide detailed information regarding accounts.
* Provide intel and market trends based upon industry knowledge and customer feedback.
* Identify new and existing competitors and consistently monitor their activity.
* Grow existing accounts through new products & services.
* Assist the customer service team with key account maintenance.
* Contribute to positive EBITDA results for BUSV by practicing commercial excellence.

Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in a Business-related field preferred, but not required.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience preferred, preferably in metal sales.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of financial metrics.
  • Strong customer service skills, including verbal and written communication.
  • Strong Computer skills, including Excel, ERP and CRM software.
  • The individual must be a self-motivated and enterprising person with excellent organizational, time management, and negotiating skills.
  • Must be able to handle several tasks at one time and prioritize tasks to maximize efficiency.
  • Teamwork, strong communication, problem solving, and interpersonal skills are necessary.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Ability to negotiate pricing and supplier agreements.
  • Research and identify new market segments, develop, and execute action plans to penetrate.
  • Previous experience growing sales volume & margin is expected.
  • Frequent travel is required. Including sales calls, customer entertainment, overnight stays and participation in trade shows, networking events, and sales meetings. Weekend travel may be required.
