What You'll Be Doing

The Account Management Representative will be responsible for managing multiple customer accounts. They will provide customer service activities as well as execute commercial activities for each assigned customer account. The role includes identifying opportunities with newly acquired customers. The Account Management Representative will need to develop and foster relationships with customers to understand their issues and offer appropriate solutions. In addition, they will identify opportunities to expand business relationships, propose pricing, and close new business. The Account Management Representative will also collaborate internally across various Rinchem functions to effectively manage assigned customers.

Scope and Responsibilities

  • Accountable for managing assigned customer accounts.
  • Build long-term customer relationships.
  • Identify opportunities to sell new business.
  • Partner and collaborate with multiple business functions and leadership to meet customer service requirements for assigned accounts.
  • Negotiate pricing and contracts with customers.
  • Ensure accounts receivable remain current by escalating issues within the customer organization to resolve outstanding overdue balances.
  • Follow-up on inquiries from prospective customers, as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in customer service, order fulfillment, inside sales, or a similar field.
  • Ability to gain customer trust and respect while building strong customer relationships.
  • Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to exercise sound judgement.
  • Proficiency in utilizing multiple IT systems to extract data and present data-driven recommendations.

Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or other related field.
  • A minimum of 1 years' experience in customer service, order fulfilment, inside sales, or similar role.

Communication Skills:

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication and presentation skills; ability to communicate accurately and concisely.

Computer Skills:

  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency. Exemplary PowerPoint and intermediate Excel skills preferred.
  • CRM (Salesforce preferred).

Other Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent project and time management skills.

Other Qualifications:

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
