Auria is looking to hire a Senior Project Manager to join our Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program. The primary work location is in Colorado Springs, CO. In this role as the Inc10 Project Engineering the candidate will report to the C2BMC Inc10 Solution Chief (SC) and support execution of technical program management related duties and responsibilities that span the associated C2BMC Task Orders. Essential Functions:
- Work with the SC in the creation of program level milestones and capabilities needed to successfully achieve all Inc10 work scope as defined in the SOW and ECPs
- Assists the SC in monitoring the successful implementation of Inc10 capabilities
- Ensure Agile work flow management tools are continually updated with all required data and reflect progress to date
- Support the SC in the development of program briefings (eg. PMR, IPRs, IETRs) and CDRLs to include planning and execution of program review events
- Populate program execution metrics, tracking metric data, and problem solving
- Lead identification of program risks and opportunities, including development of the risks/opportunities, mitigation plans, tracking and coordination, and resolution, plus risk briefings to various risk and opportunity management boards
- Support program definition of ECPs and Task Instructions including definition of capabilities, schedules, detailed task planning, ECP BOE Kickoff presentations, plus BOE reviews, and coordination with BOE authors
- Ensure technical scope in BOEs to meet customer scope requested
- Coordinate and provide support to internal and external customer technical staff to provide backup to SC as needed
- Driving execution of programmatic business rhythms such as closure of program level action items
- Support SC in coordination, removal of impediments, monitoring execution of program capabilities including planning, development, integration, test, analysis, and deployment
Basic Qualifications: Please note your updated security clearance and IAT/relevant certifications on your resume if applicable.
- Current/active in-scope DoD issued SECRET security clearance
- Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline preferred from an accredited university and 8 years of related experience
- or a Master's degree in a STEM discipline and 6 years of experience,
- or a PhD and 4 years of experience,
- or 12 years of related experience in lieu of a degree may be considered.
- Technical expertise and ability to develop and drive a vision, strategy and execution approach for external customers, leaders, and development teams both within and external to organizational boundaries
- Ability to leverage data to drive results and measure performance
- Proven Development Leadership on a large scale Software Program
- Experience with multi-domain level Command and Control Systems
- Proven ability to shape, adapt and align the needs of customers to overall program objectives within a rapidly changing environment
- Demonstrated proficiency within System Engineering discipline to include experience managing software development
- Experience as a customer advocate and experience working with a multi-faceted, multi-company contract
- Experience with the development life cycle and to adapting to emerging digital technology for requirements, hardware, software, firmware, product, system, integration, test, and operations
- Knowledge and experience with Earned Value Management in an Agile program
- Experience writing BOEs and delivering Engineering Change Proposals in a DoD environment
Salary Range:The salary offered will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications - skills, education & experience - and the position level ($124,000 - $137,000).
