Auria is looking to hire a Systems Test SME Lead to join our team and support the Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program in Colorado Springs, CO.
The Systems Test SME Lead is responsible for planning and analyzing all MDS ground tests and flight tests in which the C2BMC program participates. Ground test types include pairwise tests, Continuous Developmental Integration (CDI), Integrated Ground Test (GTI), Distributed Ground Test (GTD), cyber tests, Space Domain Awareness (SDA), and pre-flight test HWIL efforts. Flight tests are conducted with predetermined sensors and shooters. International events comprise various ground tests and flight tests.
Essential Functions:
- Possess technical knowledge of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Missile Defense System (MDS), including sensors, shooters, command and control systems, and networks
- Experience with integration and testing within the Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program
- At least 5 years of relevant experience on the C2BMC program as an Event Mission Director (EMD) or Configuration Engineer
- Self-starter with strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, capable of working effectively in a fast-paced team environment with government customers and personnel internal and external to the program
Basic Qualifications:

- Current active in-scope U.S. Government DoD-issued SECRET security clearance
- Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Project Management, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Management) discipline preferred from an accredited university and 12 years of related experience
- or a Master's degree in a STEM discipline and 10 years of experience,
- or a PhD and 8 years of experience;
- or 16 years experience instead of a degree may be considered
- Expected to provide guidance to the team of System Test SMEs, interface with senior government customer personnel, and ensure information flow to other National Team functional areas
- Responsible for planning all assigned test events, with emphasis on developing and implementing the test artifacts required for each event, such as:
- Test objectives
- Architectures
- Data Item Descriptions
- Defense Designs
- Sensor Resource Management (SRM) settings
- Operational Tasking Data Link (OPTASKLINK)
- Air Defense Systems Integrator (ADSI) configuration and Forwarding Tables
- CDSTDACSTRAUT TDACS
- Comms Connectivity Matrices
- Event Configuration Baseline (ECB)
- System Adjustable Parameters (SAPs)/Site-Specific Parameters (SSPs)
- BDR and PR applicability
- Certification Data Packages
- Provide support for:
- Planning phase reviews and meetings
- Customer boards and meetings
- Data Management
- Interface with developers
- Government personnel during event execution phases when requested
- Anomaly resolution and troubleshooting
- Analysis group
- Failure Review Boards (FRBs)
Salary Range:The salary offered will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications - skills, education & experience - and the position level ($153,000 - $170,000).
