Assembly Team Member - 1st Shift - Custom Genset

Pay Rate: $21 / hour

Position Summary:

Under the direction of the Group Lead, the Assembly Team Member will be responsible for maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards, while completing assemblies and subassemblies through the proper use of Manufacturing Assembly Instructions (MAI) and build plans.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Complete assemblies and subassemblies, using the properly designated hand or power tools.
• Assemble components according to appropriate MAIs or build plans
• Adhere to company Safety, Attendance, Quality and Production standards
• Operates forklift as required
• Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the Team Lead or Team Manager
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
• All other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

• Requires a High School diploma or GED
• One year of related experience
• Must have basic math skills
• Must know how to read and use a tape measure, use basic hand tools, and operate basic power tools
• Physical ability to stand for 10-12 hours if needed and work on hands and knees for extended periods
• Physical ability to lift 40 pounds consistently
• Must be comfortable working on ladders at high altitudes for extended periods
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret manufacturing instructions
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
