Lead Engineer, Quality Operating Systems

Job Description:

In this role you will:

  • Support the Entegris facilities at Colorado Springs, CO and San Luis Obispo, CA in the Advanced Purity Solutions division of Entegris.

  • This role can work onsite at either facility in Colorado Springs, CO or San Luis Obispo, CA.

  • Be part of a global team working to support, evaluate, and improve quality systems at Entegris.

  • Lead and support quality system improvement projects to achieve strategic quality initiatives and enhance customer satisfaction. Projects may be identified through collaborative discussion with site business partners, metrics performance, audit / assessment findings, and hands-on observations.

  • Assess quality system health by conducting internal audits / assessments, reporting metrics performance, and facilitating quality management system review.

  • Manage internal coordination of external QMS audits including ISO 9001, customer, and regulatory audits.

  • Enable and guide site leaders and business process owners in adopting the Entegris Way and meeting quality system requirements.

  • Support global quality system projects by representing site needs and facilitating deployment at the site.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams at varying levels and degrees of complexity across multiple sites to complete tasks and projects aligned with Entegris objectives.

  • Demonstrate excellence in planning, execution, discipline, learning, leadership, and teamwork (exemplify Entegris PACE values).

Traits we believe make a strong candidate:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering; or related technical field.

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of comparable experience. preferred.

  • Ability to lead problem-solving teams to identify root cause and implement changes to prevent issue recurrence.

  • Proven ability to develop and implement process or system improvements that deliver the intended results

  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams with leadership and passion so they can deliver on commitments and produce results that are important to internal goals and objectives.

  • Working knowledge of engineering tools such as Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), 8D Problem Solving, Statistical Process Control (SPC), and Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA).

  • Significant experience using Office 365 applications such as Excel, SharePoint, Visio, Project, Word, PowerPoint.

  • Experience remotely collaborating with colleagues in virtual meetings.

  • Ability to travel up to 15%.

  • Ability to work onsite at least 3 days per week.

  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 or equivalent standards preferred.

  • Internal auditor experience and/or certification preferred.

  • Quantitative and qualitative means that include KPIs requiring quality systems engineering support and oversight as well as subjective interpersonal ratings from internal stakeholders that are vital to the overall success of the role.

  • Salary in the $125,000K-$140,000K/year range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role.
