Entry Level Assembly Helper

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Material Handling: Loading and unloading materials from production lines, trucks, and storage areas using forklifts, hand trucks, or other equipment.
• Machine Operation: Operating basic machinery like drills, saws, or simple production tools as instructed.
• Assembly: Assisting in the assembly process by placing parts, fastening components, and performing basic quality checks.
• Cleaning and Maintenance: Keeping work areas clean and organized, including sweeping, mopping, wiping down equipment, and disposing of waste.
• Quality Control: Performing basic quality checks on products to ensure they meet standards.
• Packaging: Packaging finished products according to specifications, including labeling and sealing.
• Physical Labor: Lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying heavy materials as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong time management skills
• Able to properly lift 50lbs.
• Able to sit, stand or walk for long periods of time
• Strong sense of urgency
• Good mechanical aptitude
• The ability to work productively with others associates; a "team attitude"
• A commitment to the concept of "doing it right the first time"
• Able to operate a forklift
