Manage strategic initiatives with our NetApp partnership focused into growth of Distribution Managed Partners (DMPs).

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic market and product line business plans, analyzing market data, leading vendor QBRs, and acting as the business owner for assigned vendor technology or product line. You will be seen as the go-to person for supporting vendor strategies and go-to-market plans, as well as identifying volume and strategic customers and developing partnerships. As a Level 2 Strategic Business Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving market growth, uncovering new business opportunities, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets through strategic planning and effective execution.

What You'll Do

* Develop and implement strategic market and product line business plans and programs to drive growth and achieve business objectives.

* Analyze market data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential areas for business expansion, create comprehensive reports and presentations.

* Lead vendor Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), fostering collaboration and alignment with vendors to drive mutual success.

* Act as the business owner for assigned vendor technology or product line, taking responsibility for its performance, growth, and market positioning.

* Serve as the go-to person for supporting vendor strategies and go-to-market plans, providing expertise and guidance to cross-functional teams.

* Identify volume and strategic customers, establish and nurture partnerships to drive business growth and market penetration.

* Create reports and deliver group presentations at vendor and customer sites, effectively communicating business insights, proposals, and solutions.

* Proactively develop innovative approaches to uncovering new business opportunities, staying ahead of market trends and competitor activities.

* Track progress against annual and quarterly plans, consistently monitoring and evaluating performance to achieve market growth and incremental sales.

* Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for vendor technologies and programs, as well as market segment technologies.

* Identify and cross-market complementary solutions into appropriate vertical segments, maximizing revenue opportunities.

What We're Looking For

* 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience.

* College Degree in Business, IT, or related field preferred.

* Proficient in executing instructions and requesting clarification.

* Basic data entry and mathematical skills.

* Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities.

* Detail-oriented with accuracy and efficiency.

* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

* Ability to create and conduct formal presentations.

* Comfortable interacting with high-level management.

* Skilled negotiator, able to promote and sell ideas persuasively.

* Strong leadership and organizational skills.

* Adaptable to change and able to work under pressure.

* Ability to maintain confidentiality and ethical standards.

* Strong multitasking and collaborative abilities.

* Proficient in advanced computer systems and applications.

* Occasional non-standard work hours or overtime as needed.
