More about the role

We're looking for a Field Quality Engineer to join our Team in Austin TX.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess field issues through detailed NC (non-conformance) / failure analysis, identify data trends and drive quantified root cause identification

• Works closely with Customer Service / Field Application Engineers and cross functional teams to identify root cause and establish corrective actions for installation, maintenance, workmanship, application, and design related issues.

• Prioritize initiatives according to the customer impact, cost-benefit analysis and risk association, perform quality stand downs with customer service / quality technicians as needed to convey and correct quality issues

• Develop a system to identify new failure modes and react accordingly, own and provide governance of corrective and preventative actions.

• Monitor, communicate and improve key customer facing KPI's; Warranty as % of Sales, Out of Box pass rate, RMA FA Time, Model / Part / Manufacturing date failure rate

More about you

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical or manufacturing Engineering

• 1 + years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment

• Industry experience in (automotive, Large Appliances, semiconductor, lighting) preferred

• Able to interact at all levels within the organization, from advising and reporting to top management

• Demonstrated proficiency in both written and verbal English communication skills.

Salary: $66,500 - $97,570

Bonus: target bonus opportunity 5%
