Since is looking for a Technical Architect SMS. The Technical Architect SMS will work with Product Management, development teams and relevant stakeholders to establish high-level intentions, functional, non-functional and security requirements with a view to define technical and architectural vision and guidelines that are fit to deliver business solutions!
Responsibilities
- Lead planning, definition, and high-level design of solutions and explore solution alternatives.
- Explore and recommend buy or build when it comes to significant new components.
- Document, evangelize and establish agreed technical and architectural decisions and guidelines.
- Define subsystems and their interfaces; allocate responsibilities to subsystems, support development teams to define data models that support and are aligned with the overall system design.
- Make architectural work backlog visible and invite stakeholders to influence the priorities of work items.
- Participate in the definition and development of our continuous build, test and deployment pipeline.
- Document current overall system design and deployments.
- Plan and develop architectures to support upcoming business requirements and strategy.
- Work closely with development line management to understand resource requirements, establish engineering best practices to drive quality, predictability, and efficiency.
- Work closely with development teams to support them in their effort to understand and estimate development backlog items, Epics and stories.
Requirements
- 3-year or 4-year bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 2 years of experience as Software Architect, Developer, or related that includes the following:
- A2P Messaging software development
- Work in telecommunication industry with exposure to NANP, E.164, SMPP, SMSC, 10DLC, TCR, or comparable standards
- Design and implementation of High Availability Scalability and Performance microservices-based systems in heterogenous environment
- Architecture Frameworks such as Zachman Framework, TOGAF, or similar
- Harmonizing disparate enterprise systems into a cohesive common platform, ensuring streamlined functionality despite variations in implementation methodologies,
- Synchronous and asynchronous microservices integration patterns with technologies such as gRPC, REST, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar
- Security and data protection aspects such as Zero-Trust Architecture, OAuth/OIDC, symmetric cryptography, ACL, RBAC, ABAC, GDPR, PII, HIPAA, or similar.
- Must live in Atlanta, GA metro area, as this is a hybrid home and in-office role

The annual starting salary for this position is between $90,000 - $170,000. Hybrid home and in-office; must live in Atlanta, GA metro area.
