Command and Control Network Systems Engineer

Avion Solutions Inc., an employee-owned company, seeking candidates for a Command and Control Network Systems Engineer position to support PM STRIKE. This position is based in Huntsville, AL.

Job Responsibilities/Duties:

• Serve as a C2 Network Systems Engineer for the Program Executive Office - Missiles and Space Mid-Range Capability Project Office (MRCPO), which is responsible for the development, testing, integration, and fielding of the Army's Mid-Range Capability (MRC) missile system
• Advise MRCPO in the design, development, fielding, and modernization of the Battery Operation Center (BOC) as part of the Army Mid-Range Capability
• Assist with the systems architecture and federated integration of the Tactical Tomahawk Weapon Control System (TTWCS), Aegis Weapon System (AWS), the Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System (AFATDS), and the Joint Automated Deep Operations Coordination System (JADOCS) in the MRC Battery Operations Center

Required Experience:

• BS in Science or Engineering.
• 10 years experience in system engineering.
• 5 years experience in systems engineering for a DoD weapons system acquisition program office or OEM.
• Experience in network/IP configuration management.
• Must be a US Citizen and have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
• Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time. US travel only.
