At Connexus, our Branch Managers are responsible for the support, growth, and development of our Senior Member Services Representatives, Member Financial Representatives, and Branch Supervisors while collaborating with the Director of Branch Operations on how to be an exceptional leader. Responsibilities:

  • Provides leadership, direction, and support to their team members, ensuring tasks are completed effectively and efficiently.

  • Communicates goals, monitors performance, provides feedback, and executes strategies to support productivity and organizational goals.

  • Possesses strong rapport building capabilities and relationship management skills, with the ability to teach others.

  • Collaborates with department manager to ensure compliance with established procedures and regulatory requirements. Demonstrated ability to independently prioritize assigned projects and meet deadlines.

  • Provides input to department leadership regarding team's performance and collaborates with department manager to create performance objectives with the ability to execute independently.

  • Interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new employees.

  • Assesses and maintains appropriate staffing levels based on business needs.

  • Cross-train personnel and ensure that the staff is well informed about and able to confidently promote all products and services, promotions, and other organizational initiatives.

  • Leads team in developing relationship building skills, adding value to each interaction, and making informed product/service recommendations.

  • Facilitates and participates in ongoing branch safety, security, regulatory, and compliance training.

  • Ensures personnel are well trained in all phases of their respective jobs and up to date on department and organizational procedures and policies.

  • Ensures profitability, sustainability, compliance, and audit readiness of the branch.

  • Hold self and team accountable to achieve and exceed production goals.

  • Develop and implement ongoing action plan or roadmap.

  • Provides departmental and organizational project support.

  • Awareness and adherence to department budget; reviews monthly to analyze variances and ensure expenditures remain within limits.

  • Additional oversight around facilities and equipment of the branch office.

  • Monitors industry trends in deposit operations to propose new processes, best practices, development activities.

  • Promotes an omni-channel member experience to best serve all of our members' financial needs.

  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve member inquiries and deescalate member concerns.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience is Required.

  • 5+ years financial organization member/customer facing position demonstrating successful sales and service experience is Required.

  • 3+ years of management or supervisory experience Required.

  • Evidence of excellent verbal communication skills along with an outgoing personality that demonstrates a positive, friendly and energetic attitude.

  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and to be entrusted with the handling of confidential and personal matters.

  • Ability to problem solve and use independent judgment.

  • Strong time management, planning, and organizational skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to be a team player, with willingness to work in a fast-paced, flexible environment.

  • Ability to travel to other branches within the area as necessary.
