Caroline Street Baltimore, MD 21287 Shift: Full Time (40 hours) Day Shift; 8:30am - 5:00pm Weekends Required: No Exempt; Pay Grade: MD Position Summary: Registration Supervisor reports to the Manager of the Emergency Medicine Department. Supervises work activities of subordinates engaged in registration and billing of patients, which includes training, evaluating and counseling employees. Schedules and assigns work to ensure proper staffing and uninterrupted patient service. Assists in the development of policies and procedures; functions as resource person for department. Duties and responsibilities may vary by assigned area, but the following are characteristic of this classification. Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred Required Work Experience: Two years of supervising, patient care, and registration experience preferred.
