POSITION SUMMARY



  • Responsible for developing short and long term sales strategies within the stamping industry


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS



  • Develop sales goals and strategies
  • Increase sales volume through direct sales effort
  • Assist in the development of new sales for the company
  • Set up new sales units
  • Keep informed of competitors activities through review of information from the field or other sources
  • Prepare reports and various documents to measure and advise on sales forecast
  • Coordinate account activities of the Sales Account Engineer
  • Direct the activities of the sales administration
  • Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channels
  • Resolve cost issues
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management


JOB QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS



  • Preferred four year Technical Degree
  • Five years minimum direct sales experience
  • Must have experience primarily selling production parts to Toyota Motor Company


SPECIAL SKILLS



  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong familiarity with metal stampings within the automotive industry
  • Experience/familiarity with automotive manufacturers (Ford, GM, Toyota, Chrysler, etc)
  • Computer literate


WORKING CONDITIONS



  • Normal office environment
  • Travel to plants and outside vendors
  • Travel to customers and potential customers
