Pay rate: $30 - $33/hr. + 1,500 sign on bonus offered by our client

Schedule: Monday - Friday

HVAC Technician essential tasks:



  • Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, including inspections, repairs, and testing of key components.
  • Diagnose and repair steam/hot water boiler systems, airflow, and ducting issues.
  • Ensure safe and EPA-compliant refrigerant handling for HVAC systems.
  • Troubleshoot and fix mechanical, electrical, and system failures in HVAC units, including motors, compressors, and circuit boards.
  • Conduct minor plumbing, painting, carpentry, and electrical maintenance to maintain facility conditions.
  • Utilize technology for work orders, service reports, timesheets, and expense submissions.
  • Provide customer support, safety compliance, and project estimates while maintaining clear communication with clients and teams.


Qualifications:



  • HS diploma, trade certification, or equivalent experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or specialty floor care preferred; EPA Universal Refrigeration License required.
  • Minimum 5 years of HVAC/general maintenance experience, including electrical, plumbing, and carpentry, with a focus on industrial/commercial HVAC systems.
  • Ability to read and follow safety policies, maintenance instructions, and reports; proficiency in Microsoft Office and business management software.
  • Must adhere to OSHA standards, company safety policies, and applicable building codes while performing maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
  • Complete work orders efficiently, travel locally between properties, and maintain required licenses, certifications, and a valid driver's license.
