SONOCO PAPERBOARD SPECIALTIES, NORCROSS GA Customer Service Representative 1 POSITION SUMMARY Responsibilities include responding to customer orders, inquiries, price quotations and providing samples requested by a distributor, end-users and/or broker partners. A/R follow-up is also a component of this position. All communications are to be be done with professionalism in a timely manner. Account follow up will be critical and expected. BASIC REQUIREMENTS A willingness to perform tasks in a safe manner Ability to work with others with strong organizational and time management skills. Communicate effectively with clarity and detail. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Develop working relationships with distributor salespersons, distributor buyers, end-user buyers/customers and broker personnel. Additionally, interact and work cohesively with all team members in the company. Identify key customers and develop strategic and tactical knowledge needed to offer the right solutions for their needs. Attention to detail in order to accurately enter orders, provide quotes, or information in correspondences. Customer leads and prospect follow-up is expected and is a necessary requirement of the position Maintain a clean and safe working area to avoid accidents. Strong computer skills needed to work Microsoft Office programs, Adobe Illustrator, Oracle and other business platforms. Provide feedback to management regarding any quality or competitive issues. Report to work on time as scheduled and be prepared to perform duties and responsibilities Expect to perform other similar and related job functions as needed.
