JOB FUNCTIONS By performing thorough training and providing consistent feedback, ensures that patient access policies and procedures are followed so accurate information is included in the patient record. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Oversees and performs training and quality improvement activities in the Clinic Patient Registration areas. 2. Serves as the clinics primary resource for questions regarding registration, insurance verification, financial clearance and collection procedures. 3. Monitors the registration of patients and insurance verification process providing feedback and support when and where needed. 4. Conducts frequent audits of registrations to ensure quality data capture. 5. Reviews and makes recommendations for EHR/PM system changes that will enhance the patient access experience. 6. Participates in the coordination of registration activities and standards with other organization departments. 7. Develop and distribute management reports in a meaningful and actionable format, i.e. dashboard, graphs, etc. 8. Serves as an ad hoc member of the clinic leadership team. 9. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Education/Work Experience - High School Diploma or equivalent - Two years related experience or equivalent combination of education/experience - 2-4 years supervisory experience - Willing to travel to multiple sites Knowledge/Skills/Abilities - Ability to effectively handle high-stress fast paced environment - Ability to meet and maintain the necessary background checks as aligned with position functions - Ability to communicate in the English language for effective written and verbal correspondence in order to complete job functions as mentioned above - Ability to multi-task - Ability to perform basic math functions and count money - Ability to serve patients in a friendly and efficient manner - Knowledge of basic computer functions and Microsoft Office applications - Ability to respond appropriately to unpredictable situations and diverse patient populations - Ability to work autonomously and as a team - Capable of making independent decisions with the use of good critical thinking and problem solving skills - Ability to communicate in the English language for effective written and verbal correspondence in order to complete job functions as mentioned above
