Summary

The MIL Corporationis seeking an Engineering, Senior Analystto provideon-site support to the Department of the Navy, in the analysis, and troubleshooting of various communication systems. The work will be conducted at Webster Outlying Field (WOLF), St. Inigoes, MD and on various job sites.

This position currently requires a hybrid schedule with 2 days on-site. Schedule is subject to change based on company/contract requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Perform analysis and in-depth troubleshooting actions to support a specified mission, communication systems, or other designated programs.
  • Develop and perform test & evaluation procedures for electronic and communication systems.
  • Perform maintenance, quality assurance inspections, and operational checks on various electronics and communication systems.

Travel

Ability to travel approximately 35-45% to CONUS and OCONUS locations.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years' of progressive experience with DoD, military, or other government agency's electronics and communication systems
  • Ability to accurately interpret wiring diagrams and schematics
  • Experience working with HF, VHF, UHF, SATCOM radios, and modems
  • Must be familiar with RF, power, and data test equipment
  • Familiarity with system administration and network communication tasks, such as IP verification and ping tests
  • Experience working at a customer site or Government facility
  • Experience in Navy aviation maintenance
  • Must be able to execute complex planning and tasking
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have strong organizational skills and be highly detail oriented
  • Ability to collaborate in a team environment, as well as work independently

Desired Qualifications

  • 10+ years' of progressive experience with DoD, military or other government agency's electronics and communication systems
  • CompTIA Security+ CE (or equivalent) certifications
  • 2-M, IPC, or J-Standard certifications
  • Experience with NALCOMIS or MATILDA

Education

Bachelor's degree a technical discipline from an accredited college. Six (6) years of additional work experiencerelated to the positionor an Associate's Degree plus four (4) years of additional work experience related to the position may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.

Clearance

All interested applicants for this position must possess a current Secret clearance, with the ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance; please note that the clearance process takes into account financial background aspects.

Salary at MIL is determined based on factors such as qualifications, experience, and contractual limitations. For this position, the projected compensation range is $ 89,000 - $ 105,000 per year.
