Payroll Administrator/Analyst-Consultant

Job Description:

Dynamo is hiring for a Payroll Administrator/Analyst to support our headquarters in Vienna, VA. The Payroll Administrator/Analyst responsibilities include reviewing payroll data and documents for inefficiencies and errors, checking whether all amounts are accurate based on hours worked and ensuring payments are made on time. To be successful in this role, you should have excellent analytical skills with the ability to spot numerical errors.

Duties/ Responsibilities



  • Check and review the number of hours employees have worked per pay period in Deltek Time & Expense
  • Follow up with any opened/unsigned/unapproved timesheet as necessary per pay period
  • Review and post the labor distribution report and timesheet in Deltek Time & Expense
  • Calculate wages and salaries
  • Issue employees' wages by cash, check or electronic transfer using Paychex
  • Collaborate with the human resources department to maintain employee data
  • Calculate pay raises, shift payments and overtime compensation
  • Assist and maintain all onboarding/offboarding activities related to payroll including updating Paychex
  • Issue tax forms and related documentation and assisting employees to complete them
  • Deducting tax and insurance payments
  • Resolve issues employees have with timesheets, paystubs and other payroll matters
  • Ensure all state UI and wage related filings and report submissions are reconciled and kept current
  • Assist H/R and T/M department as needed
  • Assist with Ad Hoc reporting as necessary

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with ADP Workforce/Payroll


Nice to Have Skills



  • Knowledge of payroll, garnishments and benefits distribution
  • Knowledge of state UI and unemployment benefits requirement
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred


Education and Experience:



  • 2-4 years of payroll administration experience
