We're actively seeking a talented Internal Retirement Sales Representative to join our National Markets team.

This role is hybrid based out of our Omaha, NE or Newport Beach, CA office. We believe in empowering our employees to get work done both in and out of the office.

As an Internal Retirement Sales Representative you'll move Pacific Life, and your career, forward by supporting the National Markets Defined Contribution Lifetime Income sales targets and performance metrics.

You will fill an existing role that sits on a team of 5 people in the division.

How you'll help move us forward:

  • Support Sales Directors in meeting and exceeding sales targets and performance metrics

  • Works towards mastering every aspect of the DCLI sales process in order to be a consultative business partner to our clients

  • Identify and qualify new sales opportunities through targeted calling, emailing, and networking

  • Collaborate with Sales Directors to support market coverage and opportunity pipeline management to grow our DCLI business, including managing external data sets to support territory activities

  • Present and demonstrate our Defined Contribution Lifetime Income (DCLI) products and solutions to institutional retirement consultants, advisors and Plan Sponsors

  • Stay updated on industry trends, market movements, and product changes

  • Have working knowledge of strategic partners, key competitors and industry markets

  • Follow up with intermediaries and prospects to ensure satisfaction and retention.

  • Identify Plan Sponsor types (paternalistic vs. adding DCLI just to add it). Then drive adoption within the plans that are paternalistic

  • Document activity and pertinent issues in the CRM system i.e. appointments, thank you calls, monthly call campaigns and Sales opportunities etc.

  • Partner with internal stakeholders as appropriate throughout the sales process.

  • Adhere to Pacific Life Code of Conduct, as well as industry and regulatory agency guidelines.

The experience you bring:

  • 3 years experience in financial services industry

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint

  • Life and health insurance license and/or variable annuity insurance license is preferred but not required.

The base pay is $70k with target incentives up to $100k.

Base Pay Range:

The base pay range noted represents the company's good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.
