Position Title: Machine Operator Wage: $16.60-$18.00/Hour Shift: 3rd Shift Hours: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM Sunday- Thursday Works Saturday Mornings Looking for someone independent and motivated to join this hiring company! Machine Operator Responsibilities: - Maintain proper levels of material for nonwoven operations - Fill fiber meters - Weigh and check fiber dumps - Mix batches of binder - Maintain proper binder level in system - Adjust saturator screen for proper tracking - Complete shift data collection forms - Troubleshoot and make machine adjustments - Assist group leader in various nonwovens operations - Clean equipment as needed to maintain quality product - Repair Machinery as needed - Change worn belts & chains - Grease equipment as per schedule and when needed - Check bearings, etc - Maintain binder bulk storage tanks - Run conversion equipment when needed - Learn Group Leader position to cover for vacations and other absences - Fill in for missing operators and support company efforts as needed Requirements for Machine Operator: - Ability to be self- motivated and independent - Ability to stand for 8 hours - Strong attention to detail - Good mechanical skills - Ability to complete necessary documents accurately - Good observation skills - Good troubleshooting skills - Willingness to learn QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
