About The Job Dudek is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Payroll Specialist to support payroll processing and ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and multi-state regulations. This role involves handling payroll functions, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining employee records while providing excellent service to internal teams. Duties and Responsibilities: * Process bi-weekly payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. * Maintain payroll records, including earnings, deductions, and tax withholdings. * Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations. * Address payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies. * Assist in payroll audits and reporting requirements. * Support timesheet integration between Deltek Vantagepoint and Dayforce. * Stay updated on payroll laws and best practices. * Assist with payroll tax-related activities, including accurate calculation and submission of payroll taxes. * Work closely with HR and Finance teams on payroll-related matters. * Provide support for system updates and payroll process improvements. * Process payroll adjustments such as wage garnishments, 401(k) contributions, and workers' compensation. Minimum Requirements * 3-5 years of payroll processing experience in a multi-state environment. * Experience with payroll systems, preferably Deltek Vantagepoint or similar platforms. * Strong understanding of federal and state payroll regulations. * High attention to detail and problem-solving skills. * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll reporting. * Excellent communication and customer service skills. * As a federal contractor, successful candidates are required to pass the following pre-employment requirements prior to beginning employment: pre - employment drug test and background check. Preferred Qualifications * Experience with Dayforce. * Knowledge of multi-state payroll processing, including CA, CO, WA, AZ, UT, and OR. * CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) or FPC (Fundamental Payroll Certification) is a plus. Proposed Salary Range: $33.65-$38.46 hourly* *Final agreed upon compensation will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to an individual's related experience, education, certifications, skills, and work location.
