JOB MISSION:

The Associate Manager Digital Experience plays a key role in the Team Sports eCommerce business and is essential for delivering a best-in-class user experience by driving the execution of initiatives key to the Team Sport business. This person will identify and prioritize site enhancements and new functionalities as well as support the overall site experience and site merchandising strategy.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Drive a best-in-class site experience by managing and executing a site merchandising strategy. Create seasonally relevant digital experiences and promotions plans, while ensuring site best practices within the user interface.

  • Manage content activation for site and selling tools. Align with marketing and NB.com to maintain consistency throughout the consumer journey.

  • Develop and maintain site reporting to determine traffic and feature usage, setting benchmarks and analyzing future site development requests. Provide leadership with recommendations to help shape the go forward strategy.

  • Develop and refine customer site journey by persona based on reporting and future feature roll out.

  • Partner with NB.com and Sales to ensure strategies are aligned while providing the right digital exposure to the right customer at the right time.

  • Subject-matter expert on digital functionality and systems, launching and communicating new website functionality and usability improvements. This involves phases of brainstorming and concept, design, development planning, testing, launch/site support and post audit.

  • Participate in prioritizing site enhancements with development team; work with development team to review projects daily. Provide timelines and status updates to business while attending sprint planning meetings within an Agile framework.

  • Provide digital merchandising levers and promotional tools to sales to maximize assortment selling opportunities.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in eCommerce, Marketing, and CRM within a retail environment

  • Proficient PC skills, including MS Office Suite and advanced Excel skills

  • Proficient in Adobe or Google Analytics

  • Aptitude to analyze discrete data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities

  • Ability to demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Understanding of both merchant and site analytics along with the ability to synthesize and provide insights from the data

  • Must be organized and detailed originated

  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills

  • Ability to effectively communicate across multiple organizational stakeholders and gain consensus

  • Confident in presenting to groups and hosting in person and virtual meetings

  • Ability to hold multiple parties accountable to deadlines and deliverables

  • Proactive, "can-do" attitude is a must

Flexible Work Schedule

Our North American hybrid model encourages rich in-person experiences, showcasing our commitment to teamwork and connection, while maintaining flexibility for associates. New Balance Associates currently work in office three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Our offices are fully open, and amenities are available across our North American office locations. To continue our focus on hybrid work we have introduced "Work from Anywhere" (WFA) for four weeks per calendar year. This model will help us enhance our culture while continuing to maintain elements of flexibility.
