Position Summary

Use direct sales techniques to build strategic sales of products and related services within specific geographic territories. Develop prospects and qualify enterprise growth opportunities. Coordinate projects with customers, account management, expanding the customer base to the internal sales network, engineering, procurement, production, and shipping to ensure correct pricing and timely product delivery, ensuring customer satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS



  • Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate, explain, and recommend product services and features, as well as solicit orders. Monitor customer preferences and focus sales efforts accordingly. Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms. Conduct sales
  • presentations. Actively look for ways to help SEE customers.
  • Work with Customer Service, Engineering, and Portfolio teams for quotes. Approve quotes sent to customers.
  • Consult with clients after sales or contract signings to resolve problems and provide ongoing support. Provide customers with technical information and samples.
  • Identify prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, participating in organizations, and attending trade shows and conferences. Collect and analyze data on customer demographics, preferences, needs, and buying habits to identify potential markets and factors affecting product demand. Identify customers' challenges and needs in order to create value opportunities. Manage prospective pipeline.
  • Perform administrative duties, such as preparing sales reports, keeping sales records, and filing expense
  • account reports. Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of customer orders, inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken.
  • Identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions to ensure quality, consistency, and excellent customer service.
  • Work closely and communicate regularly with varying departments. It may require coordinating or leading others in accomplishing work activities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year College or university; or three to five years related packaging sales experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Intermediate personal computer skills, including electronic mail, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
