ABOUT THE JOB:

The Senior Go-to-Market (GTM) and Segmentation Manager is responsible for driving the development and execution of strategic go-to-market plans and market segmentation initiatives at WillScot. This role ensures alignment between market opportunities, customer needs, and the company's sales, marketing, and product strategies. Additionally, the Senior Manager will play a proactive role in influencing and optimizing sales resource deployment, market coverage, and goal-setting to ensure maximum market impact and revenue growth.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Develop and Execute Go-to-Market Strategies: Design and implement comprehensive go-to-market strategies to drive market penetration and revenue growth with right product differentiation
  • Optimize WillScot's Segmentation, GTM, and Coverage Model: Develop and refine segmentation models and go-to-market approaches to effectively target and engage key customer segments. Influence and align sales resource deployment strategies based on market opportunities and customer demand. Provide data-driven recommendations to optimize market coverage, ensuring key segments and regions are adequately served.
  • Create Non-Traditional Channel Strategy: Identify and develop non-traditional channels to expand market reach and drive incremental growth.
  • Build Growth Plays for GTM: Design and implement growth plays to accelerate go-to-market efforts and achieve business objectives.
  • Goal Setting: Collaborate with sales leadership to develop and refine annual and quarterly goal-setting processes, ensuring targets are aligned with market dynamics and organizational objectives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, product development, and marketing teams to ensure alignment and execution of go-to-market plans.
  • Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of go-to-market strategies and make data-driven adjustments as needed. Regularly analyze sales performance metrics to identify gaps or opportunities for resource reallocation and improved coverage. Provide leadership with detailed reports and recommendations for improvement.
  • Competitive Analysis: Conduct thorough competitive analysis to identify market opportunities and threats, and develop strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Customer Insights: Gather and analyze customer feedback to inform product development and commercial strategies.
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members (COE in India), fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Analytical bend of mind: Build data driven analytical user cases for commercial ROI and CTM, Targeting and segmentation projects

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's/MBA preferred.
  • Minimumof 7 years of leadership experience.
  • Minimum of 9 years of experience in Analytics, market segmentation, or related roles.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make strategic decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching products and driving market growth.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
